FallibleTask

Struct FallibleTask

Source
pub struct FallibleTask<T> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A spawned task whose output is None when the task ended without one.

Made by Task::fallible: awaiting it returns Some(output), or None where awaiting the Task would panic.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<T> FallibleTask<T>

Source

pub fn detach(self)

Lets the task run to its end without a handle; see Task::detach.

Source

pub async fn cancel(self) -> Option<T>

Cancels the task; see Task::cancel.

Source

pub fn is_finished(&self) -> bool

Whether the task completed or was cancelled.

Source

pub fn id(&self) -> Id

The task’s id.
